Taylor Duffie and volunteer Mandy Roach pet a dog up for adoption at the Carroll County Animal Shelter during its grand opening Saturday. The shelter had food, refreshments and volunteers from the Carroll County Humane Society available to welcome the public to the new facility and show its adoptable animals.
