Mrs. Lipham was born on November 10, 1937, in Haralson County, the daughter of the late Carl J. Brown and Jewell Dean Brown. She was a retired seamstress of Sewell Manufacturing Company and a member of New Testament Church of God in Buchanan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Lipham.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carlene and Marty Jones of Bremen; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Dwight Henry of Buchanan; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Debbie Brown of Buchanan; and nephew, David Henry of Washington.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen with Pastor Bennie Westmoreland officiating. Music will be provided by Wanda Westmoreland. Scott Worthy, Keith Brown, Bill Hightower, Caleb Westmoreland, David Henry, Jay Westmoreland, Mark Henry and Don Moore will serve as pallbearers. Dwight Henry will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
