Curtis Lee Pitts, age 70, of Colonial Drive, Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born July 14, 1942, in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Jessie Young Pitts and Katie Lee Warren Pitts.

He was retired from CPI with 30 years of service and was Baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Pitts and sister, Kathleen Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Peek Pitts; daughter, Tammy (Kim) Cook of Carrollton; grandchildren, Kristin Cook and Colby Cook and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 3 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Johnny Ray League officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Johnson, Brandon Wyatt, Scott Johnson, Roy Pitts, and Jimmy Warren. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
