She was born December 21, 1921 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Joseph B. Williams and Annie Sudduth Williams. Mrs. Driver was a retired seamstress with Ray Sewell Industries and was a member of Bethany Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. Harvey Driver; a son, Edward Driver; and brothers, Cline Williams, Howell Williams, Joe “J.B.” Williams, Glenn Williams and Manard Williams.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and John Bailey and daughter-in-law, Judy Driver, all of Carrollton; sisters-in-law, Wilma Williams and Mary Ann Williams, both of Carrollton; grandchildren, Wendy and Steve Burger of Carrollton, Robyn and Bart Stone of Carrollton, Bridget and Gary Cole of Thomas, Okla., and Brandon and Samantha Bailey of Carrollton; and great-grandchildren, Katherine Burger, Sam Stone, Leah Padgett, Chloe Bailey and Wes Bailey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Minister Barry Shoemake officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jack Turner, Charlie Gordon, Brandon Bailey, Frank Williams, Joey Musick, and Jimmy Pate. Interment will follow in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery with Minister Allen Howard officiating.
The family received friends at the funeral on Saturday from 5-8 p.m.
