She retired from Swift & Co. and then worked with Wicks Lumber Co. She attended Center Point United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Otis Barge; daughter, Ann Barge; and son, Charles Barge; sisters, Mable Blair and Mary Louise Blair, and brothers, LeRoy Blair, Robert Blair and Eugene Blair.
Survivors include daughter, Judy Gregory of Temple; daughter-n-law Helen Barge of Temple; sister, Lillian Nicholson of Villa Rica; brother, John Blair of Chattanooga, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Laura and David Crisp of Winchester, Tenn.; Amy and Ron Steadham of Douglasville; Brian Barge of Temple; Sonja Hathaway of Florida; Tonja and Ricky Hineman of Florida, and Phylis Hathaway of Temple; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Westview Cemetery with Min. Billy Kaylor officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Center Point United Methodist Church, 2176 Center Point Rd., Temple, GA 30179.
