Mr. Putnam passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, at RMC in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Putnam; daughters, Sheila Lawler, Sherry Cochran, Rhonda Leathers, Karen Davis, and Wakina Smith; son, Keith Grubbs; sisters, Carol Fleming, and Donna Morris; grandchildren, Bobby Leathers, Tyler Lawler, Amber Cochran, Kasey Cochran, Kaylee Lawler, Summer Leathers, Linda Grubbs, Hope Tate, Brandon Weir, Daniel Weir, Kodi Grubbs, Jada Grubbs, and Brittney Edwards; great-grandchildren, Kayden Leathers, Caleb Leathers, Ryker Tate, Kya Weir, Brayden Weir and Lynzi Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Leathers, Kasey Cochran, Brandon Weir, Daniel Weir, Kodi Grubbs, Jimmy Tate, Tyler Lawler and Wade Cosper.
Mr. Putnam is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Eunice Putnam; son-in-law, Virgil Smith.
Mr. Putnam was a native of Calhoun county and resident of Cleburne County. Mr. Putnam served in the U.S. Army, was a graduate of Alexandria High School and was of the Baptist Faith.
