Leading the way for the Lions was Avery Ward, Jarrett Thomas and Daniel Moye — all finishing 3-0 — with Ward recording two pins at 120 pounds, while Thomas (160) had three pins and Moye (170) had two pins.
Rounding out Central’s finishers were Simon Barber at 106 (0-3), Colton Kelly at 113 (1-2), Trilan Howell at 126 (1-2), Bo Ly at 132 (1-2), Connor Eldred at 152 (1-1), Trace Musick at 182 (1-2, pin) and Kirey Thompson at 195 (2-1, 2 pins).

The Bowdon High School wrestling team took two out of three matches in a tri-match at Villa Rica on Tuesday evening, defeating Temple (66-12), and the host Wildcats (50-29), while falling to Heard County (42-36).
Earning multiple victories on the night were Trevor McCray (106), Avery McWhorter (126), Ben Vance (138), Connor Wigginton (195) and Saeje Brown (220). Aron Chambers and Bryston Ivey picked up wins against Heard County, while Tyler Smith, Trevor Strickland, Hunter Lewis and Stephen Strauser earned victories against Villa Rica.

Cumberland boys 57, Holy Ground 29: The Stallions (5-8) got 13 points and 14 rebounds from Chandler Dedman on Tuesday evening.
Cumberland JV boys 50, Holy Ground 34: Blake Lee paced HG with 10 points.
Carrollton Junior High girls 56, Haralson County 43: The Lady Trojans were led by Erial Daniel with 25 points, while Kim McKinney added 12.
