Norma Gail Dorris, 74, of Douglasville, Ga., died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. She was born May 1, 1938, in Lafayette, Tenn.

Mrs. Dorris was retired from Regions Bank as an Account Specialist and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Douglasville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliot and Hazel Jenkins Gross; her husband, Robert McLarty “Mac” Dorris; one brother; and one sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Walters and husband, Randy, Pam Tinsley and husband, Don, Julie Brennan and husband, Tom; six grandchildren; brother, Marc Gross and wife, Julianne; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at First United Methodist Church of Douglasville with the Rev. John Pinson officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery.
