Mr. Dwayne Everett Harrison, age 47, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at his residence. A native of Villa Rica, he was born July 30, 1963, the son of Mrs. Mae McClarty Harrison and the late Mr. Raymond Chester Harrison.

He worked as a HVAC serviceman for Seasons 4 Heating and Air and was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed woodworking, riding motorcycles and was an avid University of Tennessee sports fan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence “Larry” Ray Harrison, on June 12, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Wanda Harrison of Carrollton; daughters and son-in-law, Amanda and Carey Smallwood of Carrollton and Carla Harrison and Josh Thompson of Villa Rica; his mother, Mae McClarty Harrison; eight grandchildren, Carey Lee Robinson, Calvin Driver, Anthony Smallwood, David Smallwood, Abby Smallwood, Michael Smallwood, Robert Smallwood, Serenity Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Rebecca Robinson, Allie Robinson, and Kelsey Robinson.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 29, 2011, at 5 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Aaron Johnston and Chaplain Sam Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
