More than 200 runners take off in Thursday’s Run for University of West Georgia 5K. The annual event held on the first Thursday of October benefits the student scholarship fund. This year the 5K runners were join by 5K relay teams in which teams of three passed a baton along the course among UWG’s athletic facilities. Also included in the event were a Tot Trot and a one-mile fun run/walk. (Photo by Cliff Williams/Times-Georgian)
