Mrs. Grace Keener, 82, of Marietta, Ga., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. She was born April 2, 1930, in Murphy, N.C., the daughter of Andrew Taylor and Mae Belle Taylor.

Mrs. Keener was a homemaker and member of Roopville Road Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Howard Keener; siblings, Mamie Burrell, Oscar Taylor, Hob Taylor, Roy Taylor, J.D. Taylor, Rheba Roberts, Ruth English and Christine Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Denise & Monty Fountain of Franklin, Ron & Lorrie Keener, Don & Angela Keener, all of Woodstock, and Larry & Trink Keener of Plano, Texas; sister, Clara & the Rev. Donald Ellis; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Roopville Road Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Peeples officiating. Pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Shane Fountain, Jereme Fountain, Paul Keener, Drew Keener, Billy Curcio, Jason Russell, Geoff Gardner and Drew Posey. Music will be rendered by Bryant Turner. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
