Roopville Elementary fourth grader Collin Jenkins celebrates with Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black after Bonnie Plants presented Collin $1,000 for winning the statewide cabbage plant contest. Collin grew a 35- pound cabbage from a plant given by Bonnie Plants last March. Bonnie Plants gives out cabbage plants to interested third grade classes in February and March of each year.
