Mr. James “Jim” Alan Terrell, 63, of Griffin passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. He was born Oct. 27, 1947, in Chester, S.C, the son of the late Rev. Ben E. Terrell and the late Mrs. Jo Lynn Hunt Gershon. Mr. Terrell was witty, funny, and quite a comedian he was also a man of many qualities and special talents. He enjoyed painting and art, he could take a window screen and make it into a work of wonder. He loved fishing, was a history buff and more recently took to computers. He worked as a Truck Driver for many years.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Mark Carl of Fairhope, Ala.; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Linda Terrell of Fultondale, Ala.; stepfather, Philip Gershon of Fayetteville; aunt and uncle, Jackie and Tony Acuesta of Leesburg, Fla.; nephews, Scott Terrell of Woodstock, Benji Terrell of Sylacauga, Ala., Brad Parmer, Austin, Texas, Beau Parmer of Omaha, Neb., Justin Carl of Xenia, Ohio, and Daniel Carl of San Diego, Calif.

In accordance with Mr. Terrell’s wishes he was cremated.

A private family memorial will be at a later date.
