Brennon D. Williams, 84, of Pine Mountain passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. Brennon was born March 8, 1928, in Carrollton, Ga., son of the late Leon Robert and Bessie Eufaula Hackney Williams.

He owned and operated the SuperValu in Pine Mountain for many years. Brennon was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Pine Mountain. He was Past Master of the Chipley Lodge #40 F&AM.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Alan Williams; a great-grandson, Tristan Scott Thompson; and several brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Anne Williams; son, Phil and Sandra Williams; granddaughter, April and Steve Thompson; a great-granddaughter, Sophie Rose Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be at the funeral home on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Pine Mountain with Rev. Ken Grubb officiating. Committal services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday in Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton with Rev. Tom Taylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made either to the Masonic Children’s Home (Grand Lodge Secretary, P.O. Box 4665, Macon, GA 31208) or to the First Baptist Church of Pine Mountain in memory of Brennon D. Williams.
