James Lynn Crumpton, 76, a resident of Haralson Nursing and Rehab Center, died Dec. 22, 2012. Mr. Crumpton was born on May 29, 1936, in Cleburne County, Ala., to the late Jimmy and Bennie Crumpton.

After serving in the U.S. Army, he lived most of his life in Ranburne, Ala., and worked at Southwire and Printed Fabrics in Carrollton, Ga.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his to sisters, Jeanette Cooper and Reba Stapler.

Survivors include his sister, Arelene Adamson, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. EST at Rainwater Funeral Home in Bowdon with Rev. Tony Morris officiating.
