Mr. Robinson was a retired employee of Sewell Manufacturing Company, having worked in the pressing department for 47 years. He was a member of the Bremen First Baptist Church, the Adult Choir, the Golden Tones Choir, the David Higgins Sunday School Class and served as a deacon for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wyatt Robinson; a sister, Floye Hulsey; a sister in infancy, Bertie Lois Robinson; a brother, Lowell Robinson; a nephew, Robbie Robinson; brother-in-law, Noel Little; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Redding.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae “Billie” Davis Robinson of Bremen; children, Mark and Yvonne Robinson, Eric and Susan Robinson, Keith and Deb Robinson, all of Bremen, Lynn and Steve Stanley of Dallas, Vicki and Drew Genoble of Cartersville; sisters, Hazel and T.J. Bell, Clohie and Preston Smith, Jeanette Little, all of Bremen; brothers, Wayne and Jackie Robinson of Bremen, Bobby and Elaine Robinson of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, Catherine Robinson and Auburn, Ala.; brothers-in-law, Curtis Hulsey, Guy Redding, both of Bremen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ann and Ed Davis of Bremen; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the Bremen First Baptist Church with Brother Herman Parker, the Rev. Steve Stanley and the Rev. Keith Robinson officiating. Music was furnished by the church choir and congregation under the direction of Martie Abney. Paul Robinson, Jeremy Robinson, Nicholas Stanley, Aaron Stanley, Benjamin Robinson and Chris Robinson served as pallbearers. The Deacons of Bremen First Baptist Church and members of the Bremen Fire Department served as honorary pallbearers. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
