Mr. Roy Lee Wright, age 81, of Whitesburg, Ga., died Jan. 8, 2013. He was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Waco, Ga., the son of the late Priest Wright and Mary Cochran Wright.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Fashion Star with 20 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Taylor Wright; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Rhonda Wright and David and Tammy Wright, all of Whitesburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Hilda and Doyle Jeffers and Melba and Randy Musick, all of Carrollton; sisters, Rachel Brown of Waco and Martha Daniel of Lithonia; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel in Carrollton with Minister J. C. Cook and Rev. Wayne Webb officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Randall Wright, Ronald Wright, Scott Musick, Jason Musick, Chris Jeffers, and Jaime Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Robbie Wright and Levi Wright. Burial will follow in Ephesus Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
