She was born in Carrollton, Ga., on Oct. 28, 1952. She had worked as an airline flight attendant with Eastern Airlines and attended Deeper Life Christian Center.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Hazel Boyd Swann and Ed Hendrix of Villa Rica; children, Lonny Whitlock, Nisha Muse, Stefany Williams, all of Villa Rica, B.J. Lumsden, Joshua Lumsden, both of Carrollton; eight grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Camp and Thomasina Camp Wilson, both of Villa Rica.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Swann, and daughter, Adriannah Defoor.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home in Carrollton on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 13, at 4 p.m. at Deeper Life Christian Center with Pastor Dan Patrick officiating. Pallbearers will be Lonny Whitlock, Fred Williams, Jason Smith, Ed Hendrix, Brian Armstrong and Scott Pickelsimer. Burial will be in Glenn Memorial Gardens in the Flat Rock community.
