During her career she worked as an Accountant for Douglas County for 13 years and was City Clerk for the City of Douglasville for 16 years. She was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, H. Gelon McCravy; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Christy McCravy; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mike Huckeba; grandchildren, Chris and Nikki Gable, Mike and Carrie Gable, Tim Gable; and great-grandchild, Jackson Michael Gable.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Wofford and Larry Scott officiating. Music will be rendered by Nancy Smith and Elizabeth McCollum. Interment will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Harold Parr, Corey Parr, Johnny Camp, David Parris, Joe Bearden and Rhett Estes serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home.
