He was a full-time student at the University of West Georgia and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilber Frank Brown.
Survivors include his parents, Steven Lee and Patricia Moss Reid of Carrollton; paternal grandparents, Chester and Peggy Cole Reid of Carrollton; and maternal grandmother, Eleanor R. Brown of Carrollton.
Arrangements were incomplete and will be announced later from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel, Carrollton.
