He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Ellis Kilgo.
Mr. Kilgo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallapoosa. He was an attorney, practicing law in both Alabama and Georgia.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Tankersely Kilgo of Tallapoosa; and sisters and brother-in-law, Judy and Jack Roberts of Muscadine, Ala., and Kathy Bailey of Smyrna, Ga.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 16, at noon at the First Baptist Church of Tallapoosa with Rev. Jason Hatchett officiating. Music and eulogy will be provided by his niece, Tara Robinson. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
