Destiny Nicole Bowman, age 19 of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born March 25, 1993, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Jonathan Bowman and Jeanette Collins.

She worked as a waitress in the restaurant industry.

In due to her generous gift of organ donation, seven lives were saved and one received eyesight.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Marlow Bowman and Joyce Collins.

Survivors include her parents; step-mother, Amy Anne Bowman; brother, Jonathan Bowman Jr. of Carrollton; step-brother, Jacob Trey Rivers of Carrollton; half-sister and brother-in-law, Jessica Elaine and Antonio Dowty of Washington; half-sister, Jamie Ann Bowman of Carrollton; step-sister, Gracie Lee Rivers of Carrollton; and grandparents, Junior Collins of Carrollton, and Carl and Kathy Bowman of Temple.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Homer Wilburn officiating. Pallbearers will be Zach Lovvorn, Avery Brown, John Bowman, Matt Bowman, and Jonathan Bowman Jr. The music will be provided by Lee Bowman.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
